Scott E. Shaffman

Scott E. Shaffman attended the University of California, San Diego. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Western State University, College of Law, San Diego (Thomas Jefferson School of Law) in 1979. Mr. Shaffman has represented hundreds of accident victims, insurance claimants and other consumers in state and federal courts. He is a proud member of the Consumer Attorneys of California and was formerly on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Trial Lawyers Association. He currently has a solo practice in the Monterey Bay area, and was formerly senior partner in Shaffman, Iler, Palkowitz & Doft, an 8 -lawyer law firm in San Diego.

Mr. Shaffman is dedicated to working hard to protect the rights of consumers. He has 23 years of experience in this area of the law, and is committed to fighting for his clients.

Most cases are accepted on a contingency-fee (percentage) basis, with no fee owed unless and until he wins a settlement, award, verdict or judgement for his client.
